This is the debut album from Julian Marrs. All the songs were written with the vocal melodies and lyrics first with all other instrumentation written afterwards to not compromise the vocal vision. This collection of songs was written shortly after the loss of his mother and near death of his life partner. The songs were written quickly and recorded using as small amount of takes as possible to maintain the visceral feeling of the heart of the song. The production heavily relies on tape and analog outboard gear.
